Cincinnati Family Office
With a view of Fountain Square, the vibrant heart of the city where Cincinnatians gather, the U.S. Bank Tower in Cincinnati makes an ideal location for Ascent Private Capital Management’s office. For generations, U.S. Bank has served families and businesses that have fostered the growth of this vibrant region while leaving a lasting legacy for future Cincinnatians and society. Today, these families are served through our Ascent office in a comfortable and innovative environment designed specifically to help families come together and re-envision the possibilities for their wealth and their future legacies.
Chuck Stutenroth knows the importance of attitude in achieving success, whether for himself or for his clients. “I find that how you approach life – optimistically or not – can be a defining characteristic. As Henry Ford said, ‘If you think you can or you think you cannot, you are correct.’”
As Regional Managing Director of Ascent’s Cincinnati office, Chuck brings a leadership approach that reflects both his can-do attitude and a depth of professional experience and insight gained over 24 years of work with institutional clients and families of significant wealth. With a particular focus on portfolio management, his career has spanned the key areas of portfolio construction, hedging and risk management, manager selection, and professional staff development. He has developed a rich experience set across various fund management roles and as a Chief Investment Officer of a multi-family office organization.
“I love the complexity and dynamics of working with families to develop wealth management strategies to help them meet their goals while making a positive impact on the lives of those they care for and the world around them. I especially enjoy being able to function creatively and collaboratively with other professionals to craft unique strategies for our clients.”
Frequently sought out for his insights and perspective, Chuck has been featured in Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC and USA Today. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), he also earned his MBA in international finance from Xavier University and has a BBA in economics and management from the University of Kentucky. Chuck also attended the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.
Integrated service from your regional team and national specialists
Addressing both the qualitative and quantitative dimensions of multigenerational wealth, Ascent takes a holistic approach to client service. Each regional office is staffed by a team of professionals that include managing directors of wealth strategy (trust and estate advisors), investment consulting, private banking and financial administration.
These subject matter experts work closely with Ascent's regional managing director, client advisory — the relationship manager who is the primary point of contact for the family and individual family members — and the managing director, client experience — the key contact for day-to-day client requests. Team members actively participate in client meetings, providing an uncommon depth and breadth of wealth management expertise.
Ascent Private Capital Management's unique wealth sustainability services are delivered by our national team. Headquartered in our Denver office, they work closely with the regional office teams and travel exclusively to meet with Ascent families and their advisors.
The national team is led by a senior managing director for wealth sustainability and includes senior wealth planners and strategic wealth coaches, all focused on helping families understand the broader impact of their wealth. They address issues of family governance and legacy, wealth planning and CFO services.
